hellraiser revival Walkthrough

A chapter-by-chapter walkthrough covering every story level, puzzle solution, and safe route through the Labyrinth of hellraiser revival. Follow along from the discovery of the Lament Configuration to the final confrontation, always knowing where to go next and which key items to grab.

1

Chapter 1 – The Box

Objective: solve the Lament Configuration puzzle in the attic. Rotate the three circular segments until the lemniscate symbol aligns, then interact with the highlighted corner pieces in the correct order to unlock the first gateway. Pick up the candlestick before leaving — it is required for a puzzle in Chapter 3.

2

Chapter 2 – The Threshold

Objective: escape the collapsing hallway and reach the corridor of chains. Sprint down the hallway and dodge-roll through the two gaps. In the corridor of chains, use the lever on the left wall to lower the gate; Pinhead appears briefly here but cannot be fought yet — simply run.

3

Chapter 3 – Voices From Below

Objective: find the three resonance stones in the asylum basement. Place the candlestick from Chapter 1 on the ritual altar to reveal the basement. The stones sit behind the mirror puzzle, in the flooded wing guarded by Chatterer, and inside the music box safe — the combination is on the doctor's tape recorder. Place all three on the altar to open the passage to the Labyrinth.

4

Chapter 4 – The Labyrinth

Objective: navigate rotating corridors to reach the Cenobite sanctum. The Labyrinth shifts its geometry, so use the chalk marks on the walls as waypoints. Solve the rotation lever puzzle by matching each corridor's glyph to the symbol carved above the exit door, and sneak past chainsaw cultists — ammo is scarce here.

5

Chapter 5 – Pinhead

Objective: survive the final confrontation and choose your ending. Pinhead cannot be killed conventionally — destroy the four anchor pillars around the arena while avoiding his chain attacks, then use the Lament Configuration on the central altar. Your final dialogue choice determines which of the endings you receive.

hellraiser revival Endings

hellraiser revival features multiple endings shaped by your choices throughout the campaign and by how you resolve the final confrontation with Pinhead. Learn each ending and its exact trigger conditions before the final chapter so you don't lock yourself out of the true ending.

hellraiser revival Cenobites Guide

The Cenobites are the Order of the Gash — explorers of sensation summoned by the Lament Configuration. Each Cenobite in hellraiser revival has a distinct attack pattern and weakness. Learn their backgrounds and the strategies needed to survive every encounter in the Labyrinth.

Lead Cenobite / Final Boss

Pinhead

The iconic leader of the Cenobites, a former human officer of the Great War, transformed by the Lament Configuration. Calm, articulate, and utterly devoted to the Order's philosophy of limitless sensation.

Pinhead cannot be damaged directly. Destroy the four anchor pillars in his arena to sever his connection to the Labyrinth, dodge his telegraphed chain volleys, then complete the Lament Configuration ritual at the altar while he is staggered.

Recurring Pursuer

Chatterer

A Cenobite whose face is stretched open by hooked braces, leaving his teeth constantly chattering. He is the Order's relentless tracker and appears in multiple chapters as a semi-unbeatable stalker.

In chase sequences, never fight — break line of sight and use doorways to reset his path. In the flooded wing fight, lure him over the submerged power cables and activate the generator to stun him, then grab the resonance stone and flee.

Elite Cenobite

Butterball

A massive, corpulent Cenobite with eyes sewn shut, wearing sunglasses to cover the stitching. Slow but immensely durable, he blocks narrow corridors in the Labyrinth chapters.

Butterball absorbs gunfire. Use environmental hazards — collapse the hanging chains or trigger the flame jets in the corridor — to force him back, then slip past. Direct confrontation wastes precious ammo.

Elite Cenobite

Female Cenobite

A high-ranking member of the Order whose throat is held open by a stretched strap with a surgical tool. She commands hooked chains with greater precision than any other Cenobite.

Her chains track your movement, so constant dodging is essential. Strike during the recovery window after her triple-chain sweep, and keep pillars between you to cut her line of attack.

Mid-Game Boss

Chatterer Beast

A fused mass of multiple Chatterer forms, created by the Order as a guardian for the Labyrinth's inner corridors. Far faster and more aggressive than a single Chatterer.

The Beast lunges in straight lines. Bait its charge into walls to stagger it, then attack the exposed head seam. Repeat three times; do not attempt to outpace it in open areas.

hellraiser revival Combat Tips

Combat in hellraiser revival rewards patience and precision over aggression. These tips break down the core systems — the chain-link combo mechanic, dodge windows, and resource economy — plus practical boss-fight rules that apply to every major encounter.

Master the Chain-Link Mechanic

Time your melee attacks consecutively to build chain links

Each successful hit within the timing window adds a chain link, increasing damage and reach. Miss the window and the chain resets. Three or more links also stagger lighter enemies instantly, letting you finish them without spending ammo.

Dodge With Purpose, Not Panic

Dodge-roll toward diagonal angles, not straight back

Cenobite chain attacks home in on backward movement. Dodging diagonally through the attack arc grants a brief slow-motion window — use it to land a free chain-link hit. Stamina regenerates faster when you hold still after a perfect dodge.

Manage Resources Ruthlessly

Ammo and healing items are scarce — treat them as boss currency

Regular Cenobite enemies can be defeated with melee chains alone. Save ammunition and healing salves for elite Cenobites and boss arenas. Search every side room: resonance-adjacent areas almost always hide a supply cache.

Boss Fights: Study, Then Strike

Spend the first phase learning patterns instead of dealing damage

Every boss telegraphs attacks with audio and visual cues — Chatterer's chatter speeds up before lunges, Pinhead's chains glow before volleys. Observe the full pattern in phase one, then exploit recovery windows in later phases. Most bosses cannot be killed conventionally; look for the environmental objective that ends the fight.

Use the Environment

Hazards are your strongest weapon

Generators, flame jets, collapsing chains, and exposed wiring can stagger or kill enemies that shrug off your attacks. Luring pursuers into hazards is often faster and cheaper than fighting, especially in the Labyrinth chapters where ammo is at its scarcest.

hellraiser revival Collectibles

hellraiser revival rewards thorough exploration with documents that flesh out the story of the Leviathan cult and Lament Configuration shards that unlock the true ending. This collectibles guide walks through every chapter in order, listing each item's location and how to reach it.

1

Chapter 1 – The Arrival: Frank's Ledger

Second-floor study of the Cotton family house, on the desk beneath the cracked mirror.

Enter through the back garden door after the first Cenobite encounter, climb the stairs, and interact with the desk before solving the fuse puzzle.

2

Chapter 2 – The Basement: Lament Configuration Shard 1

Hidden behind the rotting wine rack in the basement corridor.

Move the rack with the interaction prompt after lighting both candles, then examine the hollow brick to collect the first shard.

3

Chapter 3 – The Hospital: Patient Records (3 documents)

Nurses' station, Records Room (Level 2), and the abandoned operating theater.

The Records Room requires the mortuary key from the morgue drawer; the theater document only appears after the lights flicker event.

4

Chapter 4 – The Labyrinth: Lament Configuration Shards 2-4

Scattered across the twisting corridors of Leviathan's realm.

Shard 2 sits in the pillar room's dead end, Shard 3 behind the chains wall in the minotaur corridor, and Shard 4 at the top of the spiral staircase before the Chatterer chase.

5

Chapter 5 – The Ordeal: Cult Correspondence Set

The Order's chapel and adjoining living quarters.

Collect all five letters before triggering the final configuration ritual; missing any locks you out of the true ending on that playthrough.
